Left 4 Dead 2's E3 build behaved more like the previous Left 4 Dead, but of course, with some of Left 4 Dead 2's newly introduced content. In modern day, most Left 4 Dead fans can tell the uniqueness this E3 demo had. The E3 Beta/Demo of Left 4 Dead 2 was then offered to all E3 attendees. At E3 2009, the teaser trailer was shown, and fans were either hyped or confused. But original Left 4 Dead fans were introduced to this sequel before it being fully developed. This project is doing its best to form a better and stronger E3 Beta community.Left 4 Dead 2 was released exactly one year after its predecessor. To view exactly who has produced what, please view the credentials page. This pack has a very wide developer list and it is important to acknowledge everyone's work. Make sure to view the "readme.txt" file for additional instruction. Upon opening the Beta Pack VPK file (using GCFScape) will then show the "enhanced" content inside. This is to regulate other aspects of the game in which that cannot be controlled by simple VPK replacements. To compensate for limited storage space on the Steam Workshop version of the mod, the team has decided to exclusively include the "enhanced" folder inside the GameMaps Edition of the mod. Please ensure all mods are disabled/removed before starting up! Startup your Left 4 Dead 2 with the beta pack located in your addons folder. You must Download the betapack.vpk file and drag it into this directory - drive/steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons. This mod will limit players only to Campaign Mode, Single Player Mode, The Parish Campaign, and Local Servers, much like the official E3 demo. The Beta Pack content is HEAVILY SCRIPTED! While it will enhance your E3 gameplay experience, it will be at the cost of most regular game functions.
